I began my journey into the world of Public Relations way back in 1996 as a trainee in Mumbai with Clea Public Relations, one of India’s leading PR agencies. I was transferred to Clea Bangalore in 1997. My responsibility in Bangalore included setting up of the branch, procuring clients and turning it into a profit center. In the two years I was in Bangalore, I pitched for, won and handled the following Clients out of Bangalore; SAP, SAP Labs, ITPL, Synopsys, BPL Telecom and Lapp Kabel.

Having established the Bangalore branch, I was then recalled to Mumbai to head an entirely new and exciting venture. The first ever official Advertising and PR Agency combination, called Ambience Clea PR in Mumbai. After a rewarding stint I then moved on as the Director of the RMG group within the company. The mandate for the RMG group included coordination of media relations and activities for all clients on an All India level.  

Moving on I was appointed Director-Chennai and Hyderabad and moved into Chennai in 2001, with the intention of turning it to a profit center. During my four years in Chennai I handled some of the biggest Corporates in the South including MRF, SkyCell Communications, The Park Hotels, TVS Motor Company, Pricol, Rasi Seeds, Odyssey, Harting and CII.

During my stint in Chennai I was promoted to Vice President South and transferred to Bangalore. I moved into Bangalore in October 2005 and in the three months that followed won the mandate for Nike India and Wipro Consumer Care Limited.

Clients handled over the last 9 years include; House of Baccarose and its various brands including Nina Ricci, Burberry’s, Clarins and Shishiedo, Centurion Bank, Charak Piramal, The Regent Hotel, Marico (Revive), Zodiac, Philips India, 123 India, Seagram, ICC, and many many more

After spending 10 years with Clea, I resigned and have now floated my own PR agency called Brand Wave Communications.
